Working Principle of Bag Filters

Bag filters work by capturing dust and particulate matter from flue gases using high-efficiency filter bags, ensuring cleaner emissions and better operational performance.

1. Flue Gas Entry

The flue gas containing dust enters the bag filter housing through an inlet duct and is directed into the filter chamber.

2. Filtration

The gas passes through fabric filter bags that trap fine dust particles on the surface while allowing clean gas to flow out.

3. Dust Collection

Accumulated dust on the bag surface is periodically removed by pulse-jet cleaning or shaking mechanisms, falling into the dust hopper below.

4. Clean Gas Outlet

Cleaned gas exits the bag filter system through the outlet duct, significantly reducing emissions and maintaining compliance with environmental standards.
