Assessing fuel flexibility and load requirements

Fuel Conversion & Capacity Enhancement

Feasibility review for shifting selected oil- or gas-fired equipment to biomass and assessing whether an existing system can meet a changed steam or heat load.

Biomass boiler and fuel handling system for industrial steam generation
Service overview

Built around your plant requirements.

Dhruv Bio Energy’s documents support biomass fuel supply, biomass-fired boiler systems and retrofit of selected oil- or gas-fired boilers / heaters. They list pellets and Cashew DOC for the retrofit kit; the biomass boiler offering lists pellets, Cashew DOC, wood chips, briquettes and agricultural residues. Capacity enhancement is treated as a feasibility assessment—not a promised output increase—based on equipment limits, process load, fuel system, utilities and approvals.

Retrofit boiler range listed750 kg/h to 15 TPH
Thermic-fluid heater range100,000 to 6,000,000 kcal/h
New biomass boiler range listed1,000 to 20,000 kg/h
Assessment scope

What the feasibility review checks

Final equipment and service boundaries are documented in the technical proposal.

  • Current and proposed fuel properties and availability
  • Boiler / heater condition, rated capacity and operating data
  • Combustion, feeding, storage, ash handling and emissions needs
  • Steam / heat demand, peak load and operating hours
  • Required modifications, shutdown scope and applicable approvals

PROJECT-SPECIFIC BASIS

Capacity claims need engineering

A capacity increase can affect the boiler, auxiliaries, piping, electrical systems, emissions and statutory approvals. The listed ranges describe Dhruv Bio Energy offerings; they do not certify that an existing unit can be uprated. Final capacity, fuel selection, pressure / temperature limits and guarantees must be established by engineering review and the approved project documents.

How to get started

A clear technical review before a proposal.

Share plant details

Boiler or heater capacity, current fuel, steam or heat demand, operating hours and location.

Review the system

We discuss equipment condition, fuel handling, process requirements and site constraints.

Agree the scope

Technical limits, responsibilities, performance basis, schedule and commercial terms are documented.

Implement & support

Work and follow-up are carried out against the approved project scope and contract.

Questions & answers

Before you plan the project.

Which fuels are supported?

The retrofit kit lists pellets and Cashew DOC. The biomass-fired boiler offering lists pellets, Cashew DOC, wood chips, briquettes and agricultural residues. Fuel compatibility depends on the selected equipment and configuration.

Can you increase our existing boiler capacity?

We can assess the requirement. An increase is confirmed only after engineering checks, equipment review and any required approvals; it is not assumed from the product range.

What should I send for a review?

Boiler / heater nameplate, rated capacity and pressure, current fuel, steam or heat demand, operating data, plant layout and any available inspection records.

Start with a technical discussion
