Mini Renewable Energy Combusting System

Smart biomass heating for pulses and chana processing. Dhruv Bio Energy’s mRECS (Mini Renewable Energy Combusting System) is designed for compatible drying and heating applications in small- to medium-scale processing units.

The application

A practical biomass alternative for process heat.

Pulses and chana processing can involve drying or heating stages. Where a unit uses diesel or wood-log-fired equipment, mRECS can be assessed as an alternative biomass heating arrangement. The configuration follows a review of the existing dryer or heating equipment, operating schedule and product requirements.

ApplicationsPulses processing, chana units and compatible drying systems
Fuel optionsSuitable local biomass, biomass pellets and Cashew DOC
AutomationAutomatic fuel feeding and ash removal, as specified for the project
Key benefits

Fuel choice. Controlled feeding. Less manual handling.

Match the combustion and feeding arrangement to your process and available biomass. Final equipment selection and performance targets are agreed after a technical review.

Explore RECS for Poha & Murmura

  • Fuel flexibility: assess locally available biomass, pellets or Cashew DOC against the selected feed and combustion system.
  • Fuel-cost reduction: an indicative 20–30% saving may be achievable in suitable applications, subject to fuel prices, consumption and operating data.
  • Automatic feeding: plan fuel delivery around the required heat load and operating cycle.
  • Ash handling: automatic ash removal can be included in the agreed equipment scope.
  • Combustion management: review fuel quality, air supply and particulate-control requirements for the application.
Savings are a project-specific estimate, not a guaranteed result. Assess total operating cost, including biomass consumption, electricity, manpower and maintenance, before comparing options. Biomass combustion produces emissions; actual levels depend on the fuel, equipment, operating conditions and selected pollution-control arrangement.

Before a proposal

Start with your process and current fuel use.

Share the following details so our team can review suitability and prepare a project-specific scope.

  • Process type: pulses drying, chana processing or another heating application
  • Production throughput, daily operating hours and required drying or heating conditions
  • Current fuel, daily consumption, delivered fuel price and electricity use
  • Photos or drawings of the existing dryer, furnace, feeding arrangement and available installation space
  • Local biomass availability, fuel quality, storage and ash-handling requirements
Technical review

Can mRECS fit your existing dryer?

Compatibility is assessed before selection. Heat output, integration, product-contact requirements, controls and installation scope must be defined for the actual process.

What specification will you receive?

The proposal will define the agreed heat duty, fuel specification, feeding arrangement, ash-removal scope, electrical requirement and site interfaces.

How are savings assessed?

Compare the current and proposed total operating costs for the same production output, moisture target and operating conditions.
